Diabetes can damage the nerves in your feet and cause a loss of feeling. It can also reduce the blood supply to you feet. This means you may not notice if your foot is sore or injured, and foot injuries do not heal as well. Ann will complete a foot check as part of you annual diabetic review which also includes checking your blood pressure, height, weight and reviewing your blood test results, she will also discuss any issues you have with your diabetes or health in general.
