People who live in mid-Essex now have access to extra evening and weekend NHS appointments at one of six EXTENDED ACCESS HUBS. Coggeshall Surgery will still provide an extended service on Wednesday evenings, booked appointments between 6.30pm and 7.30pm only. We can also book an appointment for you to attend any of the extended access hubs located at:

- Monday to Friday 6.30pm to 8pm, Saturdays 8am to 1pm
- North Chelmsford NHS Healthcare Centre, Sainsbury’s, 2 White Hart Lane, Chelmsford, CM2 5EF
- Monday to Friday 6.30pm to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 2pm
- Mount Chambers Surgery, 92 Coggeshall Road, Braintree, CM7 9BY
- Sunday 8am to 1pm
- Douglas Grove Surgery, Douglas Grove, Witham, CM8 1TE
- Saturday 8am to 2pm
- Blackwater Medical Centre, Princes Road, Maldon, CM9 5GP
- Monday to Friday 6.30pm to 9pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 1pm
- Greenwood Surgery, Tylers Ride, South Woodham Ferrers, CM3 5XD
- Saturday 8am to 2pm
Appointments
All appointments are pre-bookable only (this is not a walk-in service). Appointments can be made through us or when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111 who will take you through their usual assessment and book an extended access appointment if appropriate.
The extended access hubs are staffed by experienced GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals who offer most of the routine services you might expect at this practice, such as smear tests.
